When the COVID-19 blockages started in March, former Bureau graduate John Krasinski was dissatisfied with all the bad news that dominated every television news. So he decided to launch a web series called Some Good News to highlight the positive things going on in the world in the midst of the pandemic, and it took off in a way he never could have imagined.

“Well, on a very personal note, I can tell you that I will never be able to fully explain how much this show meant to me and what a huge honor it was to share it all with you,” said Krasinski in the final episode. “Because, the truth is, I was so blown away by the messages I received saying how happy this show makes you, how edified and inspired you can be, but I assure you, all the fun and all the inspiration was mine. ”
The father of two started choking when he recalled the very first episode, telling fans he had told them from the start that he would only deliver the good news. He said his fans were the good news, and that’s why every week it’s easy to see what resilience really looks like – as long as you can get past the goofy guy wearing a half suit.
